We demonstrate to students the importance of mathematical problems in Number & Operations, Algebra, Geometry, Measurement, and Data Analysis & Probability using real world situations. The task sheets introduce the mathematical concepts to the students around a central problem taken from real-life experiences, while the drill sheets provide warm-up and timed practice questions for the students to strengthen their procedural proficiency skills. Bought this to reinforce many of the concepts I teach throughout the year. The drills can be used as extra practice and the tasks are really good to show application of the concepts using activities that are usually multi-stepped. The presentation of the task in a problem form helps to demonstrate a real world application. This resource was everything I had hoped it would be and more. Can't wait to start using it.
