About the Novel:
Gulliver’s Travels follows the many journeys Gulliver takes to different and strange lands. Gulliver is an English surgeon who is bored of life in England. He yearns to embark on the ocean and explore new places. During his travels, Gulliver finds himself in four strange lands. The first is a land of very small people. So small, that Gulliver appears a giant to them. The second land is that of giants, where Gulliver is the one who is small. Here, he is kept as a pet and faces dangers from everyday things. The third land everyone is the same size, but the land is a floating island. The ruler of this land threatens those living on the ground by landing his island on them. Finally, the fourth land is inhabited by a race of horse-like creatures. In this land, the horses are civilized and the human-like creatures are wild. It is in this final land that Gulliver finds his kindred spirits, not wishing to leave.
