During their journey, the two girls get separated from their friends and must make the long treacherous journey alone. They are encountered with many obstacles, but are helped throughout their journey by those who make up the �underground railway.� This Novel Study provides a teacher and student section with a variety of activities, discussion questions and answer key to create a well-rounded lesson plan.
